Remember that episode of "Family Ties" when Alex P. Keaton was hopped up on caffeine pills or some shit and painted his bedroom?
I’m sure you do. It was a Very Special Episode. Not as special as alcoholic uncle Tom Hanks drinking maraschino cherries, but still. Anyway, I need some of that energy now, but I’m afraid the effects of caffeine pills weren’t accurately portrayed.I thought he drank vanilla extract? That episode has stayed with me since I was a child. I’m afraid I don’t remember Alex painting. Bummer.
The most Special Very Special Episode of Family Ties was the one where Alex’s friend died…I just remember a lot of it was Michael J. Fox in a totally black room talking to God(?). And it was sad, and way more Special than when the same thing happened to David Silver’s friend with the gun on 90210, because that one kind of made me laugh.
